OUR STORY

1800 Possums is a family owned and operated business. Find out more about the people and story behind the business
Peter McKirdy started working with possums in 2005 when he needed to resolve a possum issue in his mother’s home. As demand grew, possum removal became a job then a business.

Peter’s son Luke joined the business in 2010 and, due to growth in the industry and competitors with similar brands, the business has now been rebranded to become 1800 Possums – to stand alone and offer a unique and quality service.

The main difference you’ll see with 1800 Possums, we don’t think that caring for animals and removing possums from your home are mutually exclusive
